Due to illness and unavailability of a few members we need to cancel and reschedule tonight’s monthly UCP meeting.
Please reserve June 11th (next Monday) for the next UCP meeting.
UCP meeting time is changed to 6PM to 8PM until further notice. We meet at the Presbyterian Hall Annex. All community members are encouraged to attend and share ideas and projects. We reserve open time early in the agenda in each meeting for community members to speak up about their ideas and issues ,so please feel free to drop in and ask questions or share your project ideas. We especially welcome our new members and hope you will attend!
Our Meeting Norms:
As usual we will be meeting the first Monday of the month at 2PM-4PM at the Presbyterian Fellowship Hall – Annex (behind the church.) Everyone is welcome and we hold open space at the beginning of our meetings for community members to bring up projects and concerns of interest to them!
We will have a short presentation on grants and best practices by Kat Davis.
United Community Partners Archive
UCP offers small grants on a quarterly basis for projects in the Panhandle area. Grant proposals should be for projects that benefit a broad section of the community and have enough citizen involvement and support to carry the project through to completion.
Our April 2018 grant deadline is coming up fast.
Application packets are due the third Monday of January, April, July and October with award decisions made at the UCP Board meeting following each due date. Complete application information is available here:

All are welcome!
Al Iverson joined months ago but, we haven’t got him to sit still for a photo! Lauren Mleczko also joined a few months ago as well and has been a terrific addition to our group. Lauren brings her financial and banking experience and Al has stepped up to be our board secretary. We are so appreciative of both of you! If you see either around town ask them what’s up with United Community Partners these days! Reverend Bill, our President Kat Davis and Steve White our board Treasurer also sat still long enough for a snap!
Also a hearty welcome to our new members:
Wix and Alice Covey
Connie and Obbie Atkinson
